Terms of Service
Last updated: October 2, 2026
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Temori, including the website at temori.app, the Temori web app and the Temori apps for iPhone and Android (together, the "Service"). The Service is operated by 9274-6296 Quebec Inc. ("Temori", "we", "us", "our"), a company incorporated under the laws of Quebec, Canada.
By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle your personal information and forms part of these Terms.
1. The Service
Temori lets you keep Moments, the events of your life worth remembering, in your own words and with photos or videos if you like. You see them on a timeline and receive weekly, monthly and year-to-date reviews assembled from them.
Temori is in beta. Features may change, be added or be removed, and the Service may sometimes be slow or unavailable. We work to keep your content safe, and we recommend that you export a copy from time to time.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 14 years old to use the Service. If the law where you live sets a higher age for agreeing to the use of your personal information, you must have reached that age. If you are a minor, you need the permission of a parent or guardian to buy a paid plan.
3. Your Account
- Provide accurate information, and keep your email account and your Apple or Google sign-in secure, since they give access to your Temori account.
- An account is for one person. Do not share, sell or transfer it.
- You are responsible for what happens in your account, unless it results from our fault.
- Tell us at support@temori.app as soon as you think someone else has accessed your account.
4. Your Content
4.1 You own it
Everything you add to Temori, including your Moments, words, photos, videos, people and places ("Your Content"), remains yours.
4.2 What you allow us to do
You give us a limited, non-exclusive, worldwide permission to store, copy, process and display Your Content only to provide the Service to you: to show it to you, make display copies of photos and videos, assemble reviews and films, build exports, and send it to the service providers and connected apps described in our Privacy Policy. This permission ends when you delete the content or your account, except for copies in backups, which are removed as backups roll over.
We do not sell Your Content, use it for advertising, or use it to train AI models.
4.3 Your responsibility
Only add content you have the right to keep. Many Moments involve other people: respect their privacy, and do not use Temori to collect information about someone in a way the law does not allow.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose, or store illegal content in it, including any content that sexually exploits children
- Add content that infringes the rights of others, such as their copyright or their privacy
- Try to access another person's account or data
- Probe, scan or test the security of the Service, or try to get around it. If you find a vulnerability, please report it to support@temori.app.
- Disrupt or overload the Service, or access it by automated means other than the connected-app feature we provide
- Copy, resell or reverse-engineer the Service, except where the law allows it
Temori is private, so we do not review your content. We may act on a breach of these Terms when we become aware of it or when the law requires it.
6. AI Suggestions
If you turn on AI suggestions, Temori may draft a sentence for a review based only on your Moments. A suggestion can be wrong or incomplete, so read it as a suggestion, not as a fact. Suggestions never replace your own words, and you can turn them off at any time in Settings.
7. Connected Apps
If you connect an AI assistant to Temori, you authorize it to read your Moments and save new ones, as shown when you approve the connection. The assistant is provided by another company under its own terms. We are not responsible for what it does with the information it reads, or for the Moments it saves on your behalf. You can disconnect it at any time in Settings.
We may limit how many Moments connected apps can save (currently 30 per hour), and we may block an app that puts accounts or the Service at risk.
8. Plans and Payment
8.1 Plans
Temori offers a free plan and may offer paid plans, such as Temori Plus. During the beta, some members receive paid features at no cost. The price of a plan, what it includes and the applicable taxes are shown before you buy.
8.2 Billing and renewal
Paid plans are subscriptions that renew automatically at the end of each billing period, monthly or yearly, until you cancel.
- Bought in the App Store or Google Play: billed by Apple or Google under their terms. You manage or cancel it in your store account settings, and refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their policies.
- Bought on the web: billed through our payment provider, Stripe. You manage or cancel it in Settings, under Plan.
8.3 Cancellation
You can cancel at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and you keep paid features until then.
Deleting your account does not cancel your subscription. Cancel it first, in your App Store or Google Play settings, or in Settings on the web.
8.4 Price changes
We may change the price of a paid plan. We will tell you at least 30 days before a new price applies to you. It applies from your next renewal, and you can cancel before then.
8.5 Your rights as a consumer
Nothing in these Terms limits a refund or a right to cancel that the law gives you, including under Quebec's Consumer Protection Act.
9. When a Subscription Ends
If a paid plan ends, your account moves to the free plan. Your Moments, photos and videos stay, and you can still view and export them. We do not delete your content because a subscription ended. If the limits of the free plan change, we will tell you well in advance.
10. Export and Deletion
You can export Your Content at any time with Export everything, in the Vault on the web or in Settings in the app. You can delete Moments, or your whole account, at any time in Settings.
Deletion is permanent. There is no trash, and we cannot recover deleted content. Export first if you want a copy.
11. Changes to the Service
We may change, add or remove features, especially during the beta. If a change significantly reduces what a paid plan you subscribe to includes, we will tell you in advance, and you may cancel.
If we decide to shut Temori down, we will give you at least 90 days' notice and keep Export everything available until the end.
12. Suspension and Termination
You can stop using Temori and delete your account at any time.
We may suspend or close your account if you seriously or repeatedly break these Terms, or if the law requires it. Unless the law or someone's safety prevents it, we will first tell you why and give you the chance to export Your Content.
13. Intellectual Property
The Service, including its software, design, name and logo, belongs to 9274-6296 Quebec Inc. and is protected by intellectual property laws. We give you a personal, non-exclusive and non-transferable right to use the Service under these Terms. If you send us ideas or feedback, we may use them without any obligation to you.
14. Disclaimer
We work hard to keep Temori reliable and your content safe, but we cannot promise that the Service will always be available or free of errors. To the extent the law allows, the Service is provided "as is" and "as available". Nothing in this section limits the legal warranties that apply to you as a consumer.
15. Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by the Civil Code of Québec and applicable law:
- We are not liable for indirect damages, such as lost profits or lost opportunities
- Our total liability for any claim related to the Service is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or CA$50
These limits do not apply to injury caused intentionally or through gross fault, to bodily or moral injury, or where the law, including Quebec's Consumer Protection Act, does not allow them.
16. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms, for example when we add a feature or when the law changes. If a change affects your rights or obligations, we will email you at least 30 days before it takes effect. The notice will show the new wording, the wording it replaces and the date it takes effect. If you do not accept the change, you can close your account, or cancel your subscription, at no cost before that date.
17. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Quebec and the federal laws of Canada that apply there. If you are a consumer, you keep the protection of the mandatory laws of the place where you live, and you may bring a claim before the courts of your place of residence. Any other dispute is submitted to the courts of the Province of Quebec, district of Montreal.
18. Language
In accordance with Quebec's Charter of the French Language, these Terms are available in French. If the French and English versions differ, the French version prevails.
19. General
- If a provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the other provisions remain in effect.
- If we do not enforce a provision right away, we have not given up the right to do so.
- You may not transfer these Terms. We may transfer them to a company that takes over Temori, and we will tell you if we do.
